Yes, if you choose the full day activity. You may find the menu in the important information section. Please let us know in advance if you have allergies.

When should I reserve?

Reservations should be made a few days in advance.

Is this activity appropriate for kids?

Yes, as long as the minimum age requirement is met. The child must be able to walk in the forest and spend the day outside.

What should we bring?

We recommend you bring a back-pack with water or juice and a snack. You can also bring a change of clothes in case of rain.

Can I bring home the fish I caught?

Yes. Each participant can get one fish. You can either eat it onsite or bring it back home.

Is prior experience necessary?

No, this is a beginner-oriented activity. However, it can be adapted to suit participants who have previous survival experience and wish to learn new techniques.

Start with ice fishing for a chance to catch a speckled or rainbow trout to take home! Our activity ends with a visit to the kennel. You can visit the kennel, pet the dogs and perhaps watch a sledding run.

Ice fishing, bison & sled dog kennel visit

Start with ice fishing for a chance to catch a speckled or rainbow trout to take home! You'll also visit Quebec's first Athabaskan wood bison reserve with a guide. Our reserve was set up to protect and study these animals, which are classified as endangered species. Our activity ends with a visit to the free kennel. You can visit the kennel, pet the dogs and perhaps watch a sleigh ride.

Ice fishing, snowshoe, bison & sled dog kennel visit

We also offer Ice Fishing & Snowshoeing, Guided Bison Tour & Free Kennel, which is a full-day activity! Start your day on our stocked pond with ice fishing for a chance to catch a brook or rainbow trout! A snack is included (small sandwich with Swiss fondue cheese) and will be served after the ice fishing.

This will be followed by a hike (with or without snowshoes) directly into the wilderness, where you may be lucky enough to spot tracks or come across wild animals such as wolves, lynxes, partridges, hares and more.

You'll also visit Quebec's first Athabasca Wood Bison reserve with a guide. Our reserve was set up to protect and study these animals, which are classified as endangered species. Our activity ends with a visit to the kennel. You can visit the kennel, pet the dogs and perhaps watch a sled start. Play with the sled dogs and learn all about the life of these fantastic working dogs.
